In its note dated 31.07.2025, which replaces and clarifies the previous note of 02.07.2025, the CIG – Italian Gas Committee confirms that:

“Components either ‘supplied’, ‘obtained’, or ‘specified’ by the same manufacturer may therefore be used. The manufacturer remains free to specify compatibility or incompatibility with components from other manufacturers, as well as to potentially integrate such components within the supplied system.

The above is in compliance with European regulations and other relevant technical installation and product standards, which expressly provide for the possibility of using components produced/manufactured by different manufacturers, where declared compatible and/or suitable (namely ‘specified’) by the manufacturer of the relevant system.”
